Managing Employee Roles and Permissions

Baalvion uses a role-based access control (RBAC) system to ensure users can only see and do what's appropriate for their position. You can manage these roles from the 'Security' > 'Permissions' page. The default roles are Admin, Co-Founder, Investor, and Employee, but you can create custom roles if needed.

The permission matrix gives you a clear grid view of what each role can do. Checkboxes indicate a simple yes/no permission, while some permissions might have more granular control (e.g., 'View Financials' can be limited to 'Portfolio Only' for investors). Clicking the 'Edit Permissions' button allows you to modify these settings in a safe, controlled manner.
